Rehabilitation,care,protection and aid belong to a sensitive area of basic human and social needs.At company HODEY you get the right products and service in high efficiency.

In 1986 the first branch was opened in Neukirchen-Vluyn and in 1991 the location in Moers followed. The company HODEY has been working in Kleve since 1998 and in 2014 a branch was opened in Goch. In June 2016 the orthopedic shoe technology Peter Doepke, also from Aachen, was integrated. In addition,the company have a lot of projects,especially with the univercities.They are working and making a big project with the Hochschule Rhein-Waal,Kamp Lintfort for the FABLAB of the university.As a part of the university,our group of Fabrication for Care,as a students we was also pleased to help them with some ideas for project development with them.
It was really interesting to get an idea how the system and processes in the company Hodey works.we was welcomed from the header of the company in Kamp-Lintfort,who was prepared with the short presentation about how the firm deals with services and how it works.Providing the most efficiency care for every human being.

In addition while we was looking around the company to examine the equipments,one of the workers of the company invite some of our group member to try testing the feets while providing an examination of how healthy they are and also if there is a need of some orthopedic rehabilitation.Meanwhile,it was really interesting to see how the process system work and the volunteer handle quite good.
This was done by using a special software,by monitoring from the worker in the company and making a special medical techniques in order to test how healthy are the feets,if needed some special care for the person and to prevent problems.
After while,we had the opportunity to see on the screen what was the result of the examination of the feets of the volunteer.Providing this we can observe how the proces is working and what are the feedbacks and recommodations from the assistance in the company.
Another part of our tour in the company,was introducing of developing the orthopedic platforms and shoes by using the 3D printer.Meanwhile,the interesting part was that using the shape of every feet they can create individually orthopedic equipment and also proteses.
