The second company which our group has visited was the Bache Innovations.The firm is located in Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia,Rheinberg.The company Strickerei Bache already exists in the fourth generation and was founed in 1927 by Otto Bache,the former german knitting stronghold.Moreover,in later stage the son of the owner called Rudolf took over 1958/1959 in GDR times the shops.The knitting mill was converted into a cooperative.In 1975,grandson Dieter made a name for himself in the field of womens outerwear at the current company location in Rheinberg,with the "Strick Bache" brand well known far beyond Rheinberg.Great-grandson Dipl.-Ing Thorsten Bache took over the knitting in 2005 and converted the sole proprietorship into a limited liability company,run under the name "Bache innovations".
In 2006, the manufacturing process for "totally seamless products"was introduced.The machine capacity now includes 19 computer controlled flat knitting machines.The production area was expand for technical knits:opening of new building.Using a high-technology the company Bache is a reliable production organization which is capturing the eye of the most well known top designers and also work in area in which it can produce everything for the customer desire.The variety of products make the company unique.In the main production area the machines which are used,producing several pairs per day.Including:pullovers,accesoaries,sportswear,special type of products using 3D-technics,clothing for babies.
The company is open and interested of making partnership with other organizations in order to modernizate and re-innovate and implement ne products.In this time it has already project with some universities.one of them is Hochschule Niederrhein, University of Applied Sciences.The idea is that people like us have an good idea and they share it with the company, in order to expand the area of production.The area of the companies production is going to expand and deal in different parts including:
In addition,the visiting of Bache Innovations was a great experience for our group Fabrication of Care.It was really interesting to get known with the all this special products and machines,which do the greatest work,and also we will think about for some ideas for our project to realize them and to be part of this company.Beyond there are some pictures which will present the company itself.
These are some of the products of the company,made by different knitting machines.The materials which are used can be from textile to soft materials like different yarns.For example,soft threads used to make baby socks and hats,and not only.In addition,Bache is the company which provide a fasion pullovers and clothes with special patterns.
In this pictures are shown some of the knitting machines which company use in order to produce a products for a different customer specifications.
There are exsiting a few types of the knitting machines.These on the pictures are some of the firm use,as follows:Circular Knitting machine,Mechanical,Electronical knitting machines,etc.For example,this type of machines are setting electronically,in order to produce the quantity which are ordered by the customers to the company.In addition,this machine work alone,just the person has to monitor and follow how is the process is going and if there are some problems.Approximatelly,the time for knitting one pullover is around 2-3 hours,of course it depends of the complexity of the product,for example special patterns or logo included.
TECHNICAL CLOTHING Yarns of glass and carbon fibers, polyester, metal, UHMPE fibers, silver or stainless steel are found in many technical textiles.Bache Inovation,as is shown in the picture above.The most important thing in this matter is that the company customazies the products,in order to deal with specific customer requirements.
In this picture,the owner of the company shows us some of the products produced by knitting.This is a child hat for the winter,made by really soft material.
This knitting machine is one of the types of machines wich company use in order to produce different types of knits.How it works?SHIMA SEIKI's MACH2X is a WHOLEGARMENT specialty machine that features 4 needlebeds and SHIMA SEIKI’s original SlideNeedle. It can knit beautifully shaped, high-quality WHOLEGARMENT products which conform to the body for improved comfort and a more elegant silhouette. As the “MACH” name suggests, improvements in speed and productivity are dramatic. MACH2X achieves a maximum knitting speed of 1.6 meters per second.The tighter needle pitch also allows for a tighter fabric especially for ribs, contributing to higher-quality WHOLEGARMENT items. Additional improvements include a control unit that is built-in to the machine for simplified shipping and installation, easier maintenance, and more efficient use of space.
